Filippo excelled with Exquise in the CSI3* of Zandhoven and made his debut at 5* level in the 160 GP of Waregem. He jumped with the only 7 years old Manou de Muze clear in several 145 classes.
Max did a Johan Cruijfke, "every disadvantage has an advantage". While his friends represented Belgium at the European Championships, Max was shining in knokke in two GP's CSI2*, became 2 X second in LR and debuted with brio in the GP 1 M55 CSI3 *.
He became 3th in the GP CSI3* 1 M55 of Lier, 6th in the GP CSI3* of Saint-Lô and 2th in the GP CSI2* of Waregem.
In total, he was 15 x clear in GP and LR, which made him the second best Belgian Junior after Thibeau Spits on the FEI ranking list until the end of 2019.
